As we approach International Women’s Day, I feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude to be part of Soroptimist International of the Americas/LiveYourDream.org. Like so many of our supporters, I’ve seen firsthand how our programs lift women up, helping them find their footing, their confidence and their path forward.
Walk for Women is more than a campaign to me. It’s a reflection of who we are as Soroptimists. Friends coming together to create real lasting change for women and girls, today and for generations to come.
That’s why I’ve stepped forward as a Soroptimist member match sponsor, personally matching gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $4,600.
I’m doing this as a fellow member who believes deeply in our shared mission. I hope you’ll consider joining me in supporting the women and girls whose lives are transformed through our programs.
One of the stories that resonates with me is Danae’s. Through the Live Your Dream Awards, Danae was able to pursue her undergraduate degree and build a YouTube channel that now supports girls like her—fellow adoptees. Her journey reminds me why our collective support matters and how powerful it is when women are supported and believed in.
