Where Do We Go From Here?

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’ve been riding an emotional rollercoaster these past few weeks. Tensions are running high within our government, our communities, and even within some of our families. Regardless of your political affiliations, there’s no denying the deep pain that is felt across our nation right now. It can be frustrating and disheartening.

Many have asked: where do we go from here?

At LiveYourDream.org, we’re focusing on empowerment. We’re believing in our self worth, and speaking our truth, and being brave, and shining our light even brighter. We’re empowering ourselves to take action in support of women and girls who need it most, and we’re re-committed to the belief that strong women and girls will change the world.

We are offering opportunities, for you and thousands who share that commitment, to join us:

  • Join us as we enable undergraduate degrees and training for incredibly resilient women who know that education will transform their lives.
  • Join us as we provide resources and career support to girls who believe in the beauty of their dreams but don’t yet have a roadmap for how to get there.
  • Join us as we stand against violence affecting women and girls by raising awareness and believing in survivors as they heal.

There is a saying: “The only ambition loftier than standing high is stooping down to lift others up.”

For us, empowerment is not just finding our own strength, but giving that back to our communities in service of a better world. By lifting one another, we all rise together.

Help us realize the dream of a better world for women and girls! Join us by making a gift today and stand with the female of the future.

Even if you can’t donate much, please know that every bit counts. Your gifts provide life-changing resources and financial support to women and girls who need it.

Every day I count my blessings that I’m part of this community of change-makers. Together, let’s speak up, be brave, and shine brighter. Dream on, dreamers!

  1. I am a surviver of sexual, physical and emotional abuse. I thank God everyday. I now am healing more so than ever. I have dreams and they are to help women, children, and anyone hurting. I love to see another person smile. That’s what I live for. Advice for the day: You’re #1 always. You know right from wrong. It’s in your heart. You do what ever you’d like and never stop trying. Love yourself and love others and be a mentor for them.

  2. Don’t be ashamed. Everybody hurts and goes through things. A coward will run and never be saved but you have the choice to be the leader and live again. I always had my life together, then I lost my boys, my loved ones. Tragic events and the worst of the worst. I started drinking. I’m not proud of it; I was doing it to take pain away. But the reality was that my pain was still there. I willingly sought help to learn to cope, and understand myself and what I desire in life. Now I am healing — and you can do it too.

    1. I’m a survivor of the most horrific abuse. I have 3 beautiful children and they are my world. Now my oldest Grace is graduating. I wonder where will I go from here. I have dreams but no way to start them! I’m also a very faithful woman. I ask you and everyone who has suffered as I did for years, please join hands and love and never let this be done to any person! We don’t want anyone we love to live this nightmare. God bless you all.

    2. I stand tall and ready to face my fears. Please all women stand w me. Enough!!! I dream to live, love and enjoy my last day as it was my first. I shall live in new beginnings..

  3. Thank all of u for ur support and I’m truly sorry that life hands us these heartaches. Please keep me in ur prayers. Btw all I want to do is go have peace of mind somewhere warm.
